Ordering Information	For the investigation of scoline apnoea. Samples must be collected PRIOR to or at least 48 hours AFTER anaesthetic administration. This is because levels will be low in anyone for 2 days after suxemethonium administration. If plasma level is low, patients can be offered Cholinesterase Genotyping. Note: For the investigation of pesticide/organophosphate poisoning, order RED CELL (True) Cholinesterase.
