Acetylcholine receptor antibodies may be used to investigate patients presenting with symptoms suggestive of myasthenia gravis (MG) as determined by their clinician.

Symptoms may include ptosis or drooping eyelids, double vision, fatigability, slurred speech, difficulty swallowing or dysphagia, etc.

Other antibodies that may be relevant in the investigation of myasthenia include Anti-MuSK antibodies.
