Ordering Information

Endomysial IgA antibodies (EMA) may be used to confirm positive tissue transglutaminase IgA antibodies, particularly in the paediatric population, and to assist with a "no-biopsy approach" under the supervision of a Gastroenterologist.

EMA should only be tested if TTG has been performed and is positive. EMA testing requires Immunopathologist approval.
