Collection Instructions

BONE MARROW
- Please collect onto a LITHIUM HEPARIN or EDTA tube. Separate tubes must be collected for the tests. Arrange with the Haematology Registrar, ph: 03 9496 5981.
- 1 - 2 mL of bone marrow aspirate (BMA)
- Specimens must only be collected Monday to Thursday. DO NOT COLLECT ON WEEKENDS OR BEFORE A PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
