Test will be registered by Anatomical Pathology (using the test code MOLA) who will source the tissue block or slides and send to Molecular Diagnostics for testing who will then register for BRAF testing.

Note that BRAF mutations are also tested using the myeloid NGS panel. This test is specifically for investigations of the V600 BRAF mutation in solid tumours like melanoma.

Solid Tumour NGS Panel (Melanoma) covers the following genes:

BRAF (exons 11 & 15), NRAS (exons 1-4), KIT (exons 9,11,13,17 & 18)
