At Austin Health this test must be ordered on a paper request form. It cannot be ordered via Cerner. 
Collection Instructions

Please collect 2 x DEDICATED 9mL ACD tubes for this test.

  EDTA ACD
ADULT    20 mL
CHILD (2-12 years) 2.5mL OR 2.5 mL
BABY 1 - 2 mL  

 

If a blood specimen cannot be collected from a baby, a buccal swab (inside of cheek) may be acceptable.
