Collection Instruction
Additional Collection Instructions	Collect specimen without using tourniquet. Do not evacuate blood directly into a vacutainer as aspiration and mixing within the tube may cause unnecessary haemolysis. Blood should be collected slowly with a needle and syringe. The vacutainer should be uncapped and the blood is then dispensed slowly down the side of the tube. When the sample is full, the tube should be recapped firmly and mixed slowly by inversion. This sample is not to be sent via the Pneumatic Tube System.
