Nerve biopsy kits containing appropriate specimen containers, fixatives and instructions should be obtained from the Anatomical Pathology laboratory. Contact the Laboratory, ph: 03 9496 5583 at least 24 hours in advance to arrange a nerve biopsy kit.
The nerve biopsy should be scheduled on the morning theatre list.
