Please note that if the Hepatitis B core Antibody test (HBCAB) is positive, the laboratory will automatically perform the additional tests of Hepatitis B surface Antibody (HBSAB) and Hepatitis B surface Antigen (HBSAG) in order to define the carrier status of the patient, the past Hepatitis B infection status, etc.
