Collection Instructions	Skin scrapings: Collect into a sterile petri dish or sterile container using a scalpel blade. Kits are available from the laboratory. Scalp lesions: Scales and hair, including roots. Skin lesions: Scrapings from edge of inflamed area. Nails: Clippings or scrapings from friable or discoloured area. Instructions for: Austin Pathology Collection Staff. Refer to SOP-COL-16 for Fungal Collection protocol
