Detection of alcohol, paracetamol, and salicylates is reported from the blood specimen. The assay for tricyclic antidepressants is no longer performed.

Urine testing is also required for this screening, please refer to Drugs of Overdose Screen (Urine) for further information.

Please collect 1 x 4mL Fluoride oxalate (grey) tube AND 1 x Plain serum (red) tube.
